Any Adirondack economic plan to use efficiency to spur growth will involve making new and existing buildings much more efficient. The are four basic areas where buildings waste resources. They leak heat, they have inefficient heating systems, they can have very inefficient appliances and they can have inefficent internal systems, including waste and electrical.
